Project Description

Conversation between Architecture Master and Contemporary Art

Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi famously said “The straight line belongs to man and the curved line to God”. The origin of design is from human, but the inspiration comes from nature; use of stacked lines and natural pattern unite man’s need and his desire for surrounding environment.

Marble print buffers the hard and rigid line, feel the natural curve line that belongs to God. The remaining straight line will reach equilibrium in the end; intersection of layers that is overzealous will in the end find its release in the colorless black and white. Turning back the hands of time, a single ray pierces through; when the clock strikes, all the beauty that belongs to man and God will be captured in the eyes.
